We’re having a special visit!

Just a reminder that we’re having a special visit on Monday 22nd May!

We are all so excited!

Dear Parents/Carers,

As part of our topic ‘On the Farm’ a farm will visit us right here at school on the 22nd of May.

The farmer will bring a wide range of animals, including: ducks, chickens, rabbits, goats and sheep, cows and pigs. The animals will be set up in secure pens on the school field at the New Cross Street site.

The children will be able to see and interact with the animals in a safe, close up environment.  There will be more opportunities for the children to ask questions and even stroke some of the animals!

The farmer will be visiting school on Monday 22nd May.  Children at the Usher street site will travel to New Cross by minibus. They will be dropped off and picked up from Usher Street at the usual time.  School will provide all the children a packed lunch. Please make sure that your child has a coat in case it rains.

After the visit we will upload all of our photos onto the school blog and the children will be using the photos to create their own adverts for the farm!

We kindly ask for £5 to cover the costs of the farm visit.  Thank you for your support.Yours Faithfully,

Year 1 Team
